Ever been on a diet, and then quit? Ever had poor health in a particular area, and gotten overwhelmed by all the “helpful” information you can find at Barnes & Nobles or on the Internet? Do you ever wish you had someone that could help you sift through all the hype and advice, help you clearly assess and define where you are at, help you set achievable goals for where you need to go, and provide you with motivation and accountability along the way? If you are thinking that would help you, then our Wellness Coaching with Jon Copper is for you!
Whether you are wanting to lose weight, live healthier, reduce joint discomfort, improve cardiovascular health, enhance your athletic performance, have more energy, detoxify your body, sleep soundly again, or simply learn more about a lifestyle of wellness, then a one of our Programs would benefit you.
The first step of wellness is to get a clear picture of your current state of health. We do this through our Wellness Assessment. This consists of an intake survey and two appointments.
Before the first appointment you fill out a 15 page intake survey which covers all aspects of health including diet, lifestyle, stress, emotions, and exercise. The first appointment lasts about 30 minutes, and is a personalized follow up on the questionnaire, asking questions to get a complete and accurate picture of where you are on your journey of wellness. The second appointment lasts about 30 minutes, and during this second appointment, goals are clearly defined, and an individualized gameplan for improving your health is laid out. During this second appointment, you may be given follow up recomendations for joining a wellness program.
Wellness Programs are one-on-one weekly sessions and last anywhere from 2 weeks to 16 weeks. It is during these weeks that you are educated and coached to make positive lifestyle changes to improve your health. The reason we believe in these sessions is that health changes always work better when you have guidance and accountability in order to implement a wellness lifestyle that lasts. It is during these programs that the principles for improving health and the individualized gameplan is put into practice.
