Foods that InflameThese foods increase inflammation and pain inside your body almost immediately upon eating them (and may increase your risk of getting numerous diseases as you age)

Pro-Inflammatory Foods

-All Grains & Grain Products including white bread, whole wheat bread, pasta, cereal, pretzels, crackers and any other product made with grains or flours from grains.  This also includes most deserts and packaged foods.

-Partially Hydrogenated Oils (trans fats) found in margarine, deep fried foods (french fries, etc.) and most packaged foods

-Seed & Legume Oils (inaccurately called vegetable oils) Corn oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, peanut oil, soybean oil & the foods made with these oils such as mayonnaise, tartar sauce, margarine, salad dressings, and many packaged foods.

-Soda & Sugar

-Dairy & Soy (when consumed regularly)

-Meat from Grain Fed Animals

 

 

 

-Artificial Sweeteners such as Splenda, Sucralose, Aceculfme Potassium (Ace-K), Aspartame, and the like

-Preservatives such as those found in pork and lunch meats (Sodium Nitrates and Sodium Nitrites); those found in beverages (Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, and Sulfer Dioxide); and those found in boxed and packaged breads, cereals, gums, and snack foods (BHT, BHA, MSG) –by no means a comprehensive list
